The International Schools Group (ISG) is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher to be part of our excellent educational program. Our successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an American-based curriculum to elementary students.

Position Duties:
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate creativity in lesson planning.
  • Conduct hands-on, child-centered programs to promote learning.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment.
  • Observe and record students' progress.
  • Address individual needs and abilities within the class.
  • Participate in program planning and goal-setting.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Elementary Assistant Principal.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
  • Certification as a teacher.

Experience and Skills:
  • Prior experience as an Elementary Classroom Teacher.
  • Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles.
  • Experience with Common Core Standards.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

About the Role:
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs while overseeing the development of careers within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include identifying training needs based on skills gap analyses, developing group and individual learning courses, and effectively managing the training budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and assessing the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.
  • Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs.
  • Designing e-learning courses, workshops, and other training sessions.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and recommending improvements.
  • Maintaining an updated curriculum database and training records.
  • Managing and maintaining in-house training facilities and equipment.
  • Researching and recommending new training methods, including gamification.
