We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to instruct high school students from Algebra to Calculus, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
Position Responsibilities:- Demonstrate commitment to child protection and ensuring a safe environment.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum goals.
- Engage students through hands-on and student-centered learning approaches.
- Maintain attendance, grades, and other necessary records.
- Evaluate student work and assess their understanding effectively.
- Support students needing additional assistance.
- Facilitate stimulating classroom discussions and monitor progress.
- Stay updated with developments in mathematics education.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic committees.
- Supervise after-school activities and potentially coach athletic teams.
- Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification required.
- Experience as a high school math teacher, including AP courses is a plus.
Skills:- Sound knowledge of high school mathematics.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
