As a part of our team, you'll play a vital role in developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Development and Enforcement: Create and enforce health and safety policies to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify hazards and audit existing safety programs for effectiveness.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate operational processes and activities to identify potential risks and ensure effective control measures are in place.
- Accident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Training: Organize and deliver safety training for employees to ensure they understand and follow safety procedures.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including injury logs, inspection reports, risk assessments, and meeting minutes.
- Liaison and Reporting: Communicate with management, HR, and other stakeholders on safety matters and report on safety performance.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date on current and new legislation and ensure the organization remains compliant.
