About the Role
Fairmont the Red Sea, located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our luxury hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and budget adherence
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in accordance with hotel policies and local regulations
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and rotation plans
  • Participate in the recruitment and performance evaluation of housekeeping staff
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in housekeeping operations

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in housekeeping supervision or management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and guest service expectations
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Relevant hospitality certifications (*, AHLEI Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive) are a plus
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage

Additional Information
Understanding of Ultra-Luxury guest expectations and brand alignment. Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-Opening stages. Experience in pre-Opening is a must. A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
