Role Overview:
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Riyadh. This is a one-year contract position, with the possibility of extension.

Your Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:
Lead the strategic development and market penetration of Mindray’s EMS solutions across the Middle East & Africa region. Drive business growth by leveraging industry expertise, local partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen Mindray’s position as a leader in emergency medical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Strategy & Business Expansion: Develop and execute the regional business strategy for EMS solutions, aligning with Mindray’s global objectives. Identify and prioritize high-potential markets (*, government tenders, private healthcare networks, NGOs) to achieve revenue and market share targets. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders: MOH, EMS providers, distributors, and international aid organizations.
  • Industry-Focused Business Development: Leverage deep knowledge of EMS/ambulance industry dynamics to position Mindray’s solutions. Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including RFQ responses, contract negotiations, and sales support coordination. Conduct competitive analysis and adapt offerings to meet regional regulatory requirements and clinical needs.
  • Local Team Enablement & Collaboration: Mentor and align local sales/service teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans and customer success. Collaborate with HQ product management to tailor solutions for MEA-specific challenges. Represent Mindray at regional conferences, trade shows, and government health initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor regional market penetration, pipeline growth etc. and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in medical device/EMS industries, with 5+ years focused on MEA markets.
  • Proven track record in selling high-value medical equipment/systems (*, ambulances, defibrillators, transport ventilators etc.) to governments or institutional buyers.
  • In-depth understanding of EMS infrastructure, ambulance procurement cycles, and healthcare funding models in MEA.
  • Existing network with MEA health ministries, EMS agencies, or tier-1 distributors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate complex markets and “build from scratch” in underpenetrated regions.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, crisis management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
