Job Purpose

Managing and activating the social media channels for a company specializing in hotel bookings in Makkah and Madinah in a way that serves sales, generates demand, and supports customer service, through organized content, seasonal campaigns, and turning interactions into inquiries and actual bookings, not just views.


Role Scope

  • The role is operational + analytical, not just creative.

  • Works directly with:

    • Reservation Management

    • Customer Service (WhatsApp)

    • Paid Advertising

  • Focuses on Makkah & Madinah Hotels + Seasons.


Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Management

  • Managing accounts:

    • Snapchat 

    • Tiktok

    • Instagram

    • X (Twitter)

  • Scheduling content according to:

    • Seasons (Ramadan – Umrah – Holidays)

    • Enriching and educational content

  • Maintaining the tone and identity of the company (professional, reliable, not overly promotional).


2. Revenue-Oriented Content

  • Producing content that serves:

    • Proximity to the holy mosque

    • Views

    • Economic options

    • Early booking

  • Linking all content to:

    • Clear Call to Action (WhatsApp / Link)

    • Scenario of expected questions from the customer

  • Working with the team to ensure:

    • Content matches real capabilities

    • Not creating misleading expectations.


3. Managing Seasonal Campaigns

  • Preparing content plans for:

    • Ramadan

    • The last ten days

    • Hajj

    • Peak seasons

  • Recycling successful content.

  • Supporting advertising campaigns with consistent content.


4. Integration with Customer Service

  • Coordinating with the WhatsApp team to ensure:

    • Responses are consistent with posted messages

    • Knowing the most frequently asked questions coming from social media

  • Suggesting improvements for:

    • Automated responses

    • Welcome messages

    • Customer journey pathways.


5. Analysis and Performance Measurement

  • Tracking indicators such as:

    • Number of inquiries from each platform

    • Type of customers (serious / curious)

    • Top converting content

  • Preparing brief reports:

    • Weekly (operational)

    • Monthly (analytical)

  • Providing actionable recommendations (stop / enhance / modify).


KPIs

  • Number of inquiries via WhatsApp from social media

  • Cost per inquiry (including ads)

  • Real engagement rate (not just Views)

  • Content that led to actual bookings

  • Adhering to the schedule and seasons


Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (especially Snapchat).

  • Clear Arabic writing suitable for the religious/spatial context.
