Join Ibn Rushd Medical Center as an Optometry Specialist!We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Jazan. Your primary task is to prepare medical glasses and fit contact lenses according to the examination results or the prescription of the treating physician.
Responsibilities:- Selecting the glasses frame in coordination with the client.
- Customizing and preparing medical glasses lenses and fitting them.
- Preparing and fitting contact lenses, and training patients on how to use them.
- Maintaining medical glasses.
- Developing methods and work procedures and keeping up with developments in the field of optics.
- Preparing and maintaining documents and reports related to optics and storing them according to the governing policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the application of general safety principles and rules during work.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in ophthalmology or optometry.
- Practical experience of not less than one year.
Required Skills:- Optical materials - Advanced level.
- Optical measurement - Advanced level.
- Lens polishing - Advanced level.
- Installing optical telescopes - Advanced level.
- Report preparation and monitoring - Advanced level.
- Operating optical assembly and optical measurement equipment - Advanced level.
- Optical engineering - Advanced level.
- Operating medical imaging equipment - Advanced level.
