Job description for a human resources employee

The human resources employee is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities related to employees within the organization. His tasks include all aspects of recruitment, training, performance management, promotion, and following the laws and regulations related to work. The aim of the human resources employee is to improve the work environment and enhance communication between employees and management to ensure the achievement of the company's goals.

Tasks of the human resources employee:

• Recruitment management:
• Follow up on the recruitment process by determining work needs, advertising jobs, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
• Preparing policies and procedures:
• Develop and update internal policies related to employees to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Performance management:
• Monitor employee performance, provide periodic evaluations, and organize training programs to improve performance.
• Compensation and benefits:
• Supervise the organization of the wage and benefits system, which includes health insurance, retirement, vacations, etc.
• Conflict resolution:
• Provide support in resolving any disputes or issues that may arise between employees and management.
• Improving the work environment:
• Work to enhance a work culture through implementing programs related to welfare and morale.
• Legal compliance:
• Ensure that all human resources-related activities align with local and international labor laws.

Working days are 6 days and Friday is a holiday.

Working hours are 8 hours a day, times depend on the company's hours.

• Implement administrative instructions issued by the direct supervisor.
• Open and sort paper and electronic mail and respond to it.
• Perform typing tasks and respond to inquiries and phone calls.
• Organize files and preserve transactions.
• Coordinate and organize meetings and document their minutes.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Human Resources, Business Administration, or Executive Secretarial.
• 2 years of practical experience.
• The ability to handle email management tools, writing, and typing.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

• Producing food within standard recipes to ensure that the production is of the highest standards.
• Accountable for the overall cooking procedures of Arabic and/or Western and/or Continental and/or Indian and/or Filipino and/or International and/or Pastry and/or Bakery.
• Determining the proper cooking time and temperature.
• Leading a team of assistant cooks and ensures that all the duties assigned to them are appropriately done according to the GMSS quality standards.
• Providing support for all assistant cooks and staff members reporting to him.
• Taking inventory of supplies on hand and orders food supplies, ingredients, and other consumables on a scheduled basis as determined by menu and estimated number of diners.
• Ensuring the quality, safety, and personal work hygiene standards on the Kitchen section are up to the GMSS standards.
• Ensuring that all equipment in the kitchen are clean and in good working condition before use.
• Adhering to national health and safety regulations in all related sections.
• Assisting Chef/chief cook/supervisor in training staff and conducting on the job training.
• Assists and be present on the service line (If Project based).
• Controls portions/production wastage.
• Performs any other assignments delegated to him within all company’s locations.

• Build and implement a robust HR infrastructure including policies and procedures.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract 'best fit' candidates.
• Lead a dynamic HR team addressing all HR responsibilities.
• Recommend and implement amendments to HR policies in line with business needs.
• Manage government relations regarding visas and licenses.
• Analyze staff turnover and undertake necessary actions.
• Develop and execute staff rotation and succession plans.
• Ensure compliance with new government HR laws and procedures.

• Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluate offers and negotiate prices, terms, and conditions.
• Create and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain (45 years).
• Proficiency in procurement systems; experience with Odoo is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate and persuade.
• Familiarity with using computers and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
