Join Our Team as a Chief Accountant at Fairmont the Red Sea!We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to support the Director of Finance (DOF) in our prestigious Fairmont the Red Sea hotel. This position is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with both local regulations and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Operations & Reporting: Manage daily operations of the Accounting Department including A/P and A/R.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee all entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Pre-Opening & System Setup: Assist in financial setup, bank account establishment, and accounting software implementation.
- Compliance & Internal Controls: Enforce controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with tax laws and labor regulations.
- Leadership & Support: Train and supervise junior accounting staff and act as the primary contact for finance-related queries.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Chief Accountant, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Experience in a pre-opening environment and in GCC markets is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
