As an Optician you will work as part of a team delivering total satisfaction to our customers through conducting thorough eye examinations and aftercare. You’ll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards. You will use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear and eye care solutions accordingly.

In addition you will act as an ambassador for RETAIL BANNER, ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience. You’ll get to perform almost all store functions including opening and closing, merchandising and of course selling. As a Luxottica ambassador you will understand and bring to life the Luxottica characteristics and the Oliver Peoples culture.

Major duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
• Coach assistants to consistently deliver effective selling behaviours resulting in high customer engagement
• Examine eyes of patients of all ages in accordance with the local guidelines

• Minimum of 1 year experience and in the possession of an optical diploma

• Receive patients at the clinic's main entrance and escort them to the treatment area.

• Assemble and dispense pharmacy medication orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Repackage oral dosage forms for outpatient dispensing, labeling appropriately.
• Handle nearly expired medications and maintain necessary records.
• Calculate drug amounts as required for prescriptions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
• Manage medication stocks and maintain adequate supplies in the pharmacy.

• Experience: 0 - 2 years in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Education: Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Language: Good command of English and Arabic.
• Licenses: Valid pharmacy practice license as per regional health authority requirements.

• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus

Implementation and management of laboratory tests with high accuracy according to the latest scientific standards, ensuring the application of quality and accreditation requirements issued by the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Health Facilities (CBAHI), and contributing to improving the quality of laboratory services and patient safety.

Advanced experience in quality systems and health accreditation (especially CBAHI).

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in medical laboratories or clinical laboratory sciences.

Preferred to have a valid professional classification from the health authority.

Additional certifications in quality or accreditation (an additional advantage).
