The Modern Fiber Optic Communications Foundation (MFOC) announces its desire to contract with a distinguished financial competency to fill the position of:

Job Title: Project and Contract Accountant

Job Objective:

To manage and organize the financial accounts of the institution, with a primary focus on cost accounting, managing communication projects, and organizing subcontractor dues accurately and professionally.

Main Responsibilities:

* Subcontractor Accounting: Reviewing and auditing current and final invoices, and managing deductions (retention, recovery of advance payments, and technical discounts).

* Cost Management: Linking expenses and purchases to the cost centers of each project to monitor profitability.

* Financial Reporting: Preparing periodic statements for suppliers and contractors and reconciling them.

* Tax Compliance: Preparing and submitting tax declarations (VAT) and managing electronic invoices according to the regulations of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

* Financial Control: Monitoring the cash advances for engineers and supervisors and settling them periodically.

Job Requirements:

* Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

* Experience: At least 3 years of experience, with previous and proven experience in the contracting sector.

* Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in cloud accounting software.

* Very advanced skill in Excel.

* Personal Skills: Ability to self-organize and meet deadlines (especially when working remotely).

* Contract Type: Part-time.
