Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to join the dynamic and successful physical education department at American School Dhahran. This full-time position involves teaching PE courses to Middle and High school students and contributing to their physical development.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate a commitment to child protection and student safety.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the defined curriculum.
- Promote active, hands-on learning in PE courses.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and evaluate students' progress.
- Provide additional support for students who require it.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
- Revise curricula and course materials as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues on teaching strategies.
- Participate in after-school activities and coach athletic teams.
- Ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.
- Teaching certification.
Experience and Skills:- Previous experience as a PE teacher in a middle/high school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle various situations maturely.
