Position Overview:We are currently seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer (E2) to join our team in Qassim, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the cost control process for multiple construction projects.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
- Coordinate with project managers and department heads to track and control project costs.
- Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports for compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Train and mentor cost control staff to ensure they understand cost control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost reduction initiatives and drive efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in cost control and financial analysis.
- Provide guidance to the finance team on cost control matters.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:- Bachelor/Master Degree in Accounting or Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in related fields on national/international initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in project cost management.
- Ability to present budgeting plans to senior management.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
