Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while performing stock-keeping duties.
• Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations while efficiently stacking and storing materials.
• Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and damage-free inbound and outbound shipments and report any quality variances.
• Order Picking: Prepare materials for shipment ensuring the exact number and type of materials are loaded.
• Loading: Efficiently move products into rail cars or trailers from staging and storage areas.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate equipment such as forklifts and perform daily inspections and minor maintenance as required.
• Inventory Management: Maintain records and ensure tight inventory control and security.
• Safety: Maintain a tidy work area and assist in warehouse security.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 3050 pounds.
• Experience with multiple forklift types preferred.
• Understanding instructions in English is an advantage.
