We are looking for an Accountant, with 2 to 4 years of experience, to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting various financial and accounting activities, participating in month-end processes, maintaining accuracy in general ledger accounts, and ensuring reconciliation, interacting with customers and suppliers, following-up on overdue payments, prepare export documentation, and ensure compliance.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Involvement in all month end processes

·       Maintenance of General Ledger Accounts and ensuring reconciliation and accuracy of information

·       Liaising with customers and suppliers

·       Making supplier payments                         

·       Monitoring Fixed Assets register including depreciation, addition and disposal

·       Monitoring Advances (suppliers and employees)

·       Following up on customers’ invoicing and handling the overdue payments

·       Preparing and monitoring export shipments’ documents and ensuring that proper pricing and documents and in place

·       Performing monthly Intercompany reconciliation

·       Handling and monitoring all Petty Cash transactions

·       Performing monthly Bank Reconciliations and weekly Cash Position Report

·       Assist in the preparation of Monthly Payroll and Transfers and its necessary accounting

·       Processing of any other accounts’ documents

·       Checking of contract / legal documents

·       Other ad hoc duties required by the department


Job Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting / ACCA / Similar qualifications is an advantage          

·       24 years of previous experience in the same industry / financial accounting

·       Relevant certification is a plus (CPA/ CA/CMA/ACCA)

·       Solid knowledge of GAAP, IAS and IFRS                                

·       Clear understanding of Operating country VAT laws, VAT registration and implementation (practical experience)
