About the Role:As a Reservation Agent at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a vital role in maximizing sales and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Your Responsibilities:- Handle enquiries for bookings via phone during your shift and respond within a reasonable timeframe (within 24 hours).
- Answer all calls promptly, within 3 rings using the specified greeting, in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Utilize sound product knowledge and selling skills to promote hotel facilities and maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide assistance in the Front Office, especially during peak periods for guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Efficiently manage guest complaints and enquiries, ensuring feedback is communicated to the Revenue & Reservation Manager and Front Office Manager.
Qualifications:- Experience in a similar reservations or customer service environment, preferably within a hotel.
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office; OPERA Cloud experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
- Experience in providing prompt and efficient service, particularly in upselling.
