About the RoleJoin Oxfam as a Human Resources Assistant where you will provide a professional, business-focused organisational development and human resource management service. Your proactive approach will be crucial in resolving issues and ensuring that staff are effectively resourced, managed and developed to successfully deliver organisational strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities- Policies and Labour Law: Advise staff on the interpretation of Oxfam HR policies, monitor implementation, and report non-adherence.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, coordinate pre-employment checks, and prepare induction plans.
- Staff Records and Administration: Support onboarding and offboarding, ensure personal files are complete, prepare employment correspondence, and manage performance reviews.
- Volunteers' Management: Handle recruitment and onboarding of volunteers, and manage their offboarding processes.
- Others: Undertake other tasks as requested and cover for the absence of HR team members.
QualificationsEssentials: General HR experience, fluency in English and Arabic, good computer skills, previous experience in refugee camps, attention to detail, and strong customer orientation.
Nonessentials: Good networking skills and ability to support staff from a distance.
