Job Responsibilities:
Operate laboratory department devices and perform required laboratory tests.
Check daily for sufficient quantities of supplies.
Ensure the safety of the department and apply safety precautions in microbiology.
Participate in continuing medical education programs.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient records.
Perform work in a manner that does not expose oneself or others to injury.
Adhere to medical ethics.
Perform work according to the approved policies and procedures in the department.
Inform the direct supervisor of any damaged or malfunctioning device.
Apply infection control guidelines within the laboratory department.
Effective communication with patients, their companions, and the healthcare team.
Apply quality standards in the laboratory department.
Provide first aid in emergencies.
Required Qualifications:
Must hold a degree from an accredited college of medical technology.
Must pass the licensing exam issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge:

Good knowledge of the English language.
