In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, storage, receipt, and issuance of all materials and inventory. You will link inventory data to actual costs to support the Cost Accounting department in calculating precise product and service costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials and goods, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Issue materials based on approved requisitions and document all transactions accurately.
  • Prepare and update item cards, maintaining accurate stock balances.
  • Coordinate with the Cost Accounting department to calculate costs of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Conduct periodic and ad-hoc stock counts.
  • Analyze variances between physical and system inventories and address discrepancies.
  • Contribute to improving inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with industrial safety policies.
  • Prepare inventory reports including stock value and status updates.
  • Monitor product expiry dates and slow-moving items, recommending actions.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Cost Accounting.
  • 25 years of experience in warehouse operations with expertise in cost accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems (ERP / SAP / Odoo or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding of FIFO, LIFO, and Average Cost methods.
