Role SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance, supporting the CFO in maintaining strong financial oversight and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and assist with audits.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support tax filings, zakat, and VAT reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 25 years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- Solid knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, VAT, and zakat regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (*, SAP, Qoyod).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a multi-entity or holding company structure.
- Experience with startup financial environments or VC-backed companies.
- Certification (*, SOCPA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
