Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable team member to operate our açaí ice cream shop located within a lively padel court. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders, preparing and serving açaí bowls and soft-serve, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent service
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare açaí bowls, ice cream, and toppings to standard recipes
- Operate the cash register and handle payments (cash and card)
- Keep the work area, equipment, and serving area clean and organized
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Follow hygiene and food safety guidelines
- Report any issues or shortages to the manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, café, or ice cream shop preferred
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Friendly attitude and good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Must be punctual and reliable
