Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecastsPublish financial statements in timeHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsReport on the company’s financial health and liquidityAudit financial transactions and documentsReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulations

A general accountant is required to work in a prestigious company, with at least 3 years of experience in public accounting and financial management. The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a complete mastery of the English language and skills in using accounting programs and Excel. Main tasks include:

• Preparing and recording daily accounting entries and monthly financial reports

• Monitoring supplier and customer accounts and managing payments and collections

• Preparing estimated budgets and cash flows

• Preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with financial laws

• Participating in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports

• Coordinating with external and internal auditors

• Managing and organizing financial documents and archiving them systematically

Essential requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field such as Financial Management or Business Administration

- Obtain a license from the Saudi Commission for Certified Public Accountants.

Main tasks:

- Familiarity with the fundamentals and principles of financial accounting.

- Prepare audit reports and analyze financial data.

- Follow legal obligations and examine accounting records.

Skills:

Knowledge of tax calculations and tax legislation.

Manage accounts accurately and detect financial fraud and impairments.

Preferably have at least one year of experience.
