About the Role
Astek is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to join the team of one of its clients in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience looking to develop a career in procurement. The role involves supporting procurement operations, contributing to cost savings, and maintaining vendor relationships, offering an opportunity for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of supplier proposals and the preparation of contract documentation.
- Analyze purchasing data to track supplier performance and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Contribute to the streamlining of procurement workflows and processes.
- Support the evaluation and maintenance of strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to forecast future needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
