Elite Factory announces its need for an employee (Quality Supervisor and Production Control)

We are looking for a disciplined and leadership personality to join our team, to take responsibility for comprehensive monitoring of product quality and workflow in the factory.

📋 Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Technical Quality Monitoring: Conducting periodic tests of products, including measuring the PH level and ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
• Supervision of Cleanliness: Ensuring the cleanliness of the factory, production lines, and equipment daily before and after work.
• Discipline Control: Monitoring workers' performance, adherence to working hours, and ensuring timely delivery of orders without delay.
• Reports: Submitting daily reports on production status, sample quality, and any violations in discipline.

✅ Conditions and Qualifications:

• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in (Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field).
• Experience: Previous experience working in factories (preferably someone with a background in labor management).
• Skills: Strong personality, decisiveness in work, and high attention to detail.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in using laboratory measuring tools (such as a PH meter).

• Conduct receiving inspections for inbound products based on approved quality standards and sampling plans.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, temperature, and storage conditions across operational areas.
• Document rejection cases and maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection reports.
• Ensure proper FIFO / FEFO implementation and monitor stock aging to minimize waste.
• Inspect sorting, grading, repacking, and handling activities to ensure operational compliance.
• Monitor food safety practices, hygiene standards, and PPE compliance within the Distribution Center.
• Report quality issues, operational risks, and recurring observations to management for corrective action.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience in quality control, fresh produce, food industry, or supply chain operations.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures and sampling methods.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality deviations.
• Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
• HACCP and Food Safety knowledge/certifications are preferred.

As a Materials Engineer based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and guaranteeing compliance with approved standards and specifications. This role involves conducting material tests, monitoring performance, preparing comprehensive reports, and implementing robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) measures. You will provide essential supervision and management to uphold the highest safety and quality standards throughout projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficient functioning.
• Perform comprehensive material tests and validate sample reports for accuracy and reliability.
• Track material performance throughout project lifecycles and report on findings.
• Verify that all materials used adhere strictly to approved standards and project-specific specifications.
• Implement and monitor on-site quality control measures in alignment with regulatory requirements and project standards.
• Ensure all materials comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting of all testing and monitoring activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with material quality standards and overall work quality.
• Develop and implement region- and project-specific procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Materials Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in materials engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience with MOT specifications and standards.
• Expertise in materials engineering principles, laboratory procedures, and relevant specifications.
• Familiarity with acceptance criteria for a diverse range of material types.
• Proven ability to supervise facilities and networks effectively.
• In-depth understanding of project practices, standards, procedures, and specifications relevant to the construction industry.

Work Context

This is a full-time position for a Materials Engineer. The role is based in Jeddah and Makkah, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. The position requires over 10 years of experience in the field.
