About the Role

Rotana Hotels is looking for guest-focused Reservations Agents to join their team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high levels of customer service and providing innovative solutions for guests. This full-time position requires maintaining effective communication for all reservations to ensure a seamless and efficient service delivery.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, correspondence, or fax.
  • Enter all reservation details into the computer system, recording all relevant information.
  • Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests related to reservations.
  • Stay up-to-date with all hotel offers and surrounding promotions.
  • Follow established procedures to process all room reservations, rates, and confirmations, including hotel facility information.
  • Demonstrate complete product knowledge and understanding of rate structures, applying yield management principles.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all correspondence and compile reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations to maximize business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate room status at all times.
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered according to Rotana standards.
  • Enter information received via fax and continuously check incoming emails.
  • Organize visa requests for hotel guests according to hotel policy.
  • Promote services and facilities when the opportunity arises.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality.
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations is required.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Customer-focused with a highly proactive personality.
  • Polite, dynamic, and approachable personality.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
