About the Role
Astek is seeking an ambitious and proactive Procurement Officer to join the team of one of its esteemed clients in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with 0-1 years of experience looking to build a career in the procurement field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting procurement operations, fostering strong vendor relationships, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation of supplier proposals and the preparation of necessary contract documentation.
- Analyze purchasing data to track supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Contribute to streamlining procurement workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Support the evaluation and maintenance of strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to forecast procurement needs accurately.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with relevant internships are strongly encouraged to apply.
