As a Chief Accountant, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring the effective management of all the financial matters of the hotel. You will work closely with other departments in matters affecting the financial operations of the property. Additionally, you will interact with suppliers and other business partners outside the hotel such as lawyers, insurance companies, tax consultants, auditors, and commercial and government banks.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month-end closing tasks.
  • Monitor and prepare monthly account reconciliations and take necessary actions.
  • Issue monthly invoices for Red Sea Global Hospitality, General Manager, Store, and Shop rentals.
  • Prepare all journal vouchers for month-end closing.
  • Generate monthly financial statements for distribution to Department Heads and Executives.
  • Review and approve city ledger transactions before posting.
  • Approve payment requests, travel expenses, employee advances, and petty cash before processing.
  • Contribute to budget preparation, forecast reports, and monthly reporting to the corporate office.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
