🏗️ Architect (Design) - Experience 5-15 years - Riyadh

Job Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and distinguished Architect to join our team in Riyadh. The candidate must have a strong experience ranging from 5 to 15 years, with a particular focus on recent years in private engineering offices within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is highly preferable that most of the candidate's experience is in Riyadh. This opportunity will be ideal for professionals who have a passion for diverse architectural design and a proven ability to lead projects and interact directly with clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Design Leadership and Development: Lead the architectural design phases for various projects from concept to detailed execution drawings.

• Diversity of Projects: Demonstrate the ability to design and manage projects of a residential, commercial, industrial, health, and educational nature (private and diverse projects).

• Client Communication and Persuasion: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, understand their needs, and present design proposals clearly and professionally, with effective persuasion skills.

• Familiarity with Regulations and Licenses: Ensure designs comply with Saudi regulations and specifications, including updated regulations for licenses and municipal regulations.

• Handling Digital Platforms: Proficient in dealing with architectural government service platforms such as Baladi Platform and Riyadh Municipality for issuing and following up on licenses.

• Preparing Work Files: Organize and prepare high-quality work portfolio and present it in a professional manner.

• Market Monitoring: Keep up with the latest developments in the local architectural market and modern construction techniques and materials.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Total experience of 5 to 15 years as an architect.

• Local Experience: The last years of experience must be in private engineering offices within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

• Location: Candidates residing or having previously worked in Riyadh are highly preferred.

• Specialization: Preferably someone whose majority of experience is in architectural design.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant architectural design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).

• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent.

Preparing price offers and pricing project items with high accuracy based on specifications and plans.

Providing design consultations to clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into practical solutions that align with design standards.

Continuous coordination with design and execution teams to ensure compliance with client requirements.

Visiting work sites to understand the scope of the project and assess actual needs.

Following up with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and prepare sample materials.

Preparing periodic reports on sales performance and client movement.

Building strong relationships with clients, designers, and contractors to maintain an effective work network.

Representing the company in meetings, presentations, and specialized exhibitions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or any related field.

Practical experience in interior decoration, furnishing, and project pricing.

Good understanding of finishing materials, furniture, and interior accessories.

Excellent communication skills and high ability to persuade and negotiate.

Ability to read plans and understand design details.

Proficiency in using basic design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is an additional advantage.

Time management skills and ability to work towards clear sales goals.

Driving license and car (a prerequisite for visiting sites and clients).

• Monitor contractor performance, working towards continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare and manage construction schedules and milestones.
• Facilitate communication between project managers, construction teams, and contractors.
• Conduct HSE walks of the construction site weekly.

• 10-15 years of experience in large-scale industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of nightshift operations.
• Proven safety implementation and quality assurance skills.
