Job Title:
Site Supervisor
General Job Objective:
Full field supervision of construction project sites to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications and within specified timelines, while strictly adhering to quality and professional safety standards and achieving project goals efficiently.
Detailed Tasks and Responsibilities:
First: Supervision and Execution
1.Follow up on all daily construction work on site and ensure its accurate implementation according to engineering plans and approved specifications.
2.Review and approve work sites before commencement to ensure their readiness.
3.Distribute tasks to work teams and monitor their performance to ensure required productivity is achieved.
4.Supervise the receipt of materials and ensure their compliance with specifications before usage.
5.Review subcontractor work and ensure the quality of execution.
Second: Quality Management
6.Inspect executed works periodically to ensure compliance with quality standards.
7.Submit technical reports with notes and mistakes along with proposed technical solutions.
8.Ensure the application of standard specifications and the approved building code.
9.Participate in quality tests for concrete works and other materials.
Third: Schedule Management
10.Follow up daily and weekly work plans and ensure adherence to them.
11.Coordinate with the project manager to reschedule work when necessary.
12.Supervise the delivery of phases according to the specified deadlines.
Fourth: Safety and Occupational Health
13.Ensure the application of safety instructions and procedures on site.
14.Supervise the training of workers on safety rules and the use of personal protective equipment.
15.Investigate accidents and prepare necessary safety reports.
Fifth: Communication and Coordination
16.Daily coordination with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
17.Attend site meetings to discuss work progress and resolve issues.
18.Continual communication with management to report achievements and issues.
Sixth: Administrative Tasks
19.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on work progress.
20.Monitor attendance and departure of work teams and document it.
21.Keep records and documents related to the site organized.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
•Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a similar specialization.
•Experience of no less than 5 years in supervising construction projects.
•Proficiency in reading engineering and technical plans.
•Familiarity with project management software like MS Project or equivalent.
•Strong knowledge of building codes and quality and safety requirements.
