Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field verification of cyber asset design, implementation, and testing to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
  • Develop, document, and maintain the cybersecurity asset register and other key deliverables under the guidance of the Site Cybersecurity Lead or Cybersecurity Manager.
  • Organize and facilitate the resolution and implementation of cybersecurity risk assessment recommendations for Air Products' designs and vendor/skid package control systems.
  • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning teams by validating firewall rules, secure remote access configurations, endpoint hardening, asset inventory, access control execution, and logging prior to system energization.
  • Lead and oversee the development, execution, and performance testing of architecture, standards, and FAT/SAT/CSAT procedures.
  • Ensure the verification and approval of third-party device access requests from subcontractors and vendors during commissioning and start-up.

  • Prepare weekly updates and dashboards for the Site Cybersecurity Lead and the Project Cybersecurity Collaboration Lead.
  • Identify and escalate risks and opportunities, and collect and report lessons learned during vendor site visits and project execution.
  • Support OT cybersecurity handovers to operations, including procedures, asset inventories, access management, and incident response alignment.
  • Contribute to the development of the OT Cybersecurity Operations Model, encompassing monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and secure remote support.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, or Instrumentation/Process Automation background preferred) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) or a related field, with at least 3 years specifically focused on designing, building, or validating the cybersecurity of industrial control systems and networks.
  • Proven project implementation experience with Saudi cyber standards (HCIS, NCA, CRA compliance) and ISA 62443 industry standards, specifications, and regulations.

  • Prepare and review as-built markups (Red line) for key electrical deliverables, including MV/LV distribution systems, grounding, lighting, hazardous area classification, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematics, Relay logic diagrams, protection schemes, relay protection settings, system studies (Load Flow, Motor Starting, Short Circuit using ETAP or SKM), load lists, cable sizing, and AC/DC UPS & battery sizing.
  • Ensure electrical designs comply with safety principles, Air Products standards, Local Saudi Standards (HCIS, SBC, Saudi National Grid Code), and international codes (IEC/IEEE/NFPA/IS).
  • Participate in 3D model reviews, design reviews, and constructability assessments.
