Join our Team as a Sr Technician II, Quality Control at TASNEE!
At TASNEE, a leading plastic product manufacturer in the Middle East, we value excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a motivated Sr Technician II, Quality Control based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, who will report directly to the QC Shift In Charge.

Role Overview:
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality from raw material to finished goods. Your responsibilities include:
  • Conducting inspections of incoming raw materials.
  • Performing quality measuring tests across all product ranges.
  • Communicating deficiencies to the production team and quality manager.
  • Maintaining an appropriate testing environment in the lab.
  • Inspecting finished goods after production and before dispatch.
  • Preparing daily stock positions of storage racks.
  • Filling out checklists for various production stages to report non-conformances.
  • Preparing batch reports and maintaining proper documentation for an effective quality system.
  • Carrying out assignments as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Involving in validation processes for new raw materials, machines, or production lines.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
  • MSc in Chemistry or BE in Chemical Engineering or from a recognized Plastic institute.
  • Professional/Technical certifications in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to perform all lab testing for BOPP Films.
  • Conceptual knowledge of Polymer Chemistry.

Knowledge & Skills:
We are looking for candidates with:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Objective
This position is responsible for ensuring that all products meet our quality standards by inspecting raw materials, conducting checks during manufacturing, and verifying final products. The job holder will also oversee laboratory tests, document results, and recommend necessary improvements to enhance our quality management system.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect raw materials.
  • Conduct checks on wood, fabrics, foam, and other materials.
  • Verify suppliers' compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Record inspection results and inform suppliers/purchasing department of any non-conformities.
  • Inspect products during manufacturing and final inspection.
  • Follow inspection records at critical stages of sofa and foam manufacturing.
  • Conduct sample inspections of products before delivery to customers.
  • Ensure reporting of any defects and take necessary corrective actions.

  • Operate and monitor laboratory equipment (such as Martindale abrasion tester and foam hardness tester).

  • Support the preparation of quality reports and dashboards for key performance indicators.

  • Support training of production staff on quality requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control (preferably furniture, foam, or textiles).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality inspection methods.
  • Ability to use measurement tools and laboratory testing equipment.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Very good English language skills (Arabic language proficiency is an additional advantage).
