About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage the technical and engineering aspects of our event projects. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of technical solutions for various live events, including conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, festivals, and other large-scale gatherings. The Project Engineer Manager will collaborate closely with the event management team, vendors, and clients to ensure the successful execution of events on time, within scope, and on budget.
Responsibilities:- Project Management: Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of technical aspects for events, ensuring smooth operations and successful delivery.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists to deliver high-quality event solutions.
- Technical Solutions & Innovation: Oversee the design and implementation of audio-visual, lighting, staging, rigging, and other event technologies.
- Client Relationship Management: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and objectives for each event.
- Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Ensure all technical operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Budget & Resource Management: Prepare detailed budgets for the technical aspects of events and track expenses to ensure costs stay within budget.
- Post-Event Review & Reporting: Lead post-event evaluations to assess the success of the technical elements and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience 8+ years in project management, preferably in the event or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of event technologies (audio, visual, lighting, staging, rigging).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software (*, MS Project, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in safety standards or event industry-specific training is a plus.
