Accountant Job
The Gulf of Security Limited Company is looking for a professional accountant to join its team in the Eastern Province, in the city of Al Khobar. This role requires preparing and organizing disbursement documents, following up on revenue collection, documenting and analyzing it. You will also be responsible for preparing accounting entries and recording financial transactions in the records, as well as auditing bank accounts and preparing the necessary reconciliations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Auditing financial claims and ensuring that their legal and financial requirements are met.
  • Preparing, organizing, and documenting disbursement documents and following up on their auditing and approval for disbursement.
  • Monitoring current and capital expenses according to the monthly financial position of the budget items.
  • Preparing the financial position and monthly summaries and preparing the annual financial closing accounts.
  • Developing accounting methods and procedures by following scientific and technical advancements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
  • Membership in the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) is preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from the UK is preferred.

Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Accountant provides accounting and administrative support at the headquarters to ensure accurate and timely reporting and is responsible for customer files and monitoring branch activities. It also ensures compliance with company policies and applies the necessary controls for the sales process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Controlling sales operations.
  • Maintaining customer credit files and ensuring that they meet the required documentation according to credit policy.
  • Uploading customer documents into the SAP system and keeping electronic copies for auditing purposes.
  • Updating bond statuses and sending a monthly report to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Coordinating with branch finance teams to ensure customer audits are completed on schedule.
  • Preparing a monthly report to confirm balances and provide feedback to the finance department.
  • Understanding the sales commission system and calculating it monthly.
  • Coordinating with branch teams regarding transactions (reversing payments, adjusting credit limits, etc.).
  • Updating customer data in the system.
  • Sending a daily report of actual collections by representatives against targets.
  • Following up on a monthly audit of no less than 10 customers for each branch and sharing the results with management.

Accounting and Reporting for Accounts Receivable
  • Entering data into the (ERP) system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the availability of supporting documents for all entries.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in finance or accounting.
  • At least one year in financial accounting for bachelor's degree holders.
  • 5+ years in financial accounting for diploma holders.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English in writing and speaking.
