Job Summary
The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, creating personalized nutrition plans, and providing education and counseling to support recovery and overall well-being. The role requires close collaboration with rehabilitation specialists to ensure that dietary recommendations complement therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients’ dietary needs through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Develop individualized nutrition and diet plans tailored to patients’ health conditions and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and families to support healthy eating habits.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation specialists to integrate nutrition into holistic care plans.
  • Participate in awareness programs, workshops, and community outreach activities related to nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care in the Electronic Medical System (EMS).
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and professional nutrition standards.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Licensing: Valid license to practice as a Nutrition Specialist in Saudi Arabia (SCFHS).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.

Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutritional counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and adapt nutrition plans to meet diverse patient needs.
