Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist technical leadership for airport systems, operational technology, and smart infrastructure programs.
  • Review and assure technical designs, specifications, and submissions from design partners.
  • Lead design reviews to ensure compliance with operational, safety, resilience, and performance requirements.
  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated airport systems, including passenger processing, baggage handling interfaces, airside systems, security systems, communications networks, and command centre technologies.
  • Advise on digital strategy and systems architecture for airport city developments and smart destinations.
  • Ensure seamless integration between IT, OT, and enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency and data-led decision-making.
  • Support cybersecurity, resilience, and governance standards across critical operational environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, construction, and program teams to integrate technology requirements into broader asset delivery.
  • Provide technical input for procurement strategies, tender evaluations, vendor selection, and systems assurance processes.
  • Drive innovation opportunities in automation, analytics, IoT, and digital twin applications for aviation environments.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders, operators, consultants, and contractors throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the common goal of net-zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience delivering airport systems and operational technology across major aviation and critical infrastructure programs.
  • Strong technical expertise in integrated security, building systems, and smart digital infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and ensure robust, scalable design solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills within complex environments, with a focus on resilience, performance, and program delivery.
  • Must meet the necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Must possess relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.
