We are currently seeking a highly skilled Executive Sous Chef for the Four Seasons Hotel Madinah located steps from the historic Prophet’s Mosque.
About the Role:As the Executive Sous Chef, you will support culinary operations, ensuring that food preparation and presentation meet the hotel’s high standards. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations.
- Leading and mentoring kitchen staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Preparing high-quality dishes consistent with menu specifications.
- Development of new menus based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Monitoring kitchen inventory and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments for events and in-room dining services.
- Managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs.
Requirements:The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Fluency in English.
