**Job Title:** Marketing Lead
**Reports to:** Marketing and Communications Manager
**Division/Section:** Marketing Department
**Department:** School Marketing and Communications
**Role Purpose:**
To support and execute marketing and communications strategies aimed at enhancing the school’s brand, increasing community engagement, and promoting school programs and events. This role will focus on creating and managing marketing campaigns and materials to support the school’s objectives.
**Key Accountabilities & Activities:**
1. **Strategic Planning Support:**
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the school’s programs and events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager and other staff to align marketing activities with the school’s goals.
2. **Annual Marketing Calendar:**
- Help create and maintain the annual marketing calendar, including scheduling key dates for events and promotions.
- Work with various school departments to ensure marketing activities are planned and executed on time.
3. **Budget Assistance:**
- Support the budgeting process for marketing activities.
- Monitor marketing expenses and assist in ensuring adherence to the budget.
4. **Content Creation:**
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and social media posts.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the school’s brand guidelines and messaging.
5. **Event Coordination:**
- Assist in planning and managing school events, including open houses, parent-teacher meetings, and community activities.
- Help evaluate events post-completion to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
6. **Community Engagement:**
- Support initiatives to engage with the school community, including students, parents, and local organizations.
- Help develop campaigns to foster school spirit and community involvement.
7. **Digital Marketing:**
- Assist in managing the school’s digital marketing efforts, including updates to the website and social media platforms.
- Help monitor and report on digital marketing performance.
8. **Brand Management:**
- Aid in maintaining the school’s brand identity and ensuring consistency in all marketing materials.
- Assist in monitoring brand perception and recommending improvements.
9. **Communication Materials:**
- Support the development and editing of communication materials for internal and external audiences.
- Help with press releases, announcements, and promotional content.
10. **Reporting and Analysis:**
- Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance.
- Help prepare reports and presentations for the school’s leadership team.
**Background, Skills & Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Previous marketing experience is not required. Fresh graduates or individuals with limited experience in marketing are encouraged to apply.
- **Skills:**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- **External: ** Prospective students and parents, alumni, community organizations, and media.
