Wood is seeking a TPE IV / Senior Civil Engineer to join its team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Role Context and Responsibilities
The Senior Civil Engineer will contribute to the technical execution of assigned scopes of work within the civil engineering discipline. This involves assisting in the development of key engineering deliverables such as philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions. The role requires performing specific engineering tasks, which may include contributing to phases of larger, complex projects. A key focus will be on meticulous documentation, diligent project progress monitoring, and carrying out basic engineering calculations. The engineer will apply academic knowledge to job responsibilities under the supervision of experienced technical professionals, handling routine aspects of assignments that adhere to basic engineering standards and prescribed techniques. Collaboration with senior team members is essential for addressing non-routine aspects and solving routine problems through clearly defined procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend, interpret, and prepare applicable technical information.
- Capability to suggest design changes for functional and cost-effective results.
