Role OverviewThe Storekeeper is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials, equipment, and products. This role ensures proper stock control and compliance with safety standards to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods, and verify against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
- Record stock levels and update inventory systems.
- Store materials systematically for easy identification.
- Issue materials and equipment as per requisition requests.
- Monitor stock movements and notify management of low levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare reports related to stock levels and warehouse activities.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Basic computer skills with MS Office familiarity.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
