Join Canonical as a Revenue Accountant!In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our finance team as we prepare for an exciting IPO and strive for excellence in the technology industry.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information.
- Take full responsibility for portions of the revenue recognition process.
- Participate in year-end audit processes and statutory reporting.
- Support wider finance plans for IPO preparation.
- Enhance financial processes and ensure compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues across the organization.
- Continue developing your skills and knowledge of applicable standards.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Professional accounting qualification (*, ACCA, ACA, CPA).
- Experience with IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Previous experience in large accounting firms or multinational corporate accounting preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year.
