Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our supply chain team, responsible for managing procurement and supply operations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the availability of materials and products with the required quality, best cost, and in a timely manner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement cycle from purchase request to receipt.
• Search for suppliers, evaluate offers, and select the most suitable ones.
• Negotiate to obtain the best prices and supply terms.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on their execution.
• Coordinate with warehouses and sales to ensure material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and contribute to needs planning.
• Analyze procurement data and provide cost reduction proposals.
• Build professional relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance.
• Update supplier and item data in the system.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement.
• Experience in heavy equipment spare parts is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
