About the Role
Hirez Manpower Solutions is seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join their client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for supporting outdoor construction, infrastructure, and site development projects. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators and skid steers.
- Perform essential site preparation tasks such as grading, trenching, and leveling.
- Handle and transport construction materials, including soil and gravel.
- Support a variety of outdoor construction and infrastructure development activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and perform preventative maintenance checks.
- Identify and promptly report any equipment or mechanical concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Strictly adhere to all workplace safety procedures and operational standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment within the construction or related industries.
- A strong understanding of job site safety protocols and heavy equipment operation best practices.
- The ability to work independently and efficiently in outdoor conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills including Heavy Equipment Operation, Excavator Operation, and Skid Steer Operation. Proficiency in Grading, Trenching, Leveling, and Site Preparation is expected. Experience with Material Handling, Equipment Inspection, and Preventative Maintenance is also important. A strong understanding of Workplace Safety Procedures, Teamwork, Basic Mechanical Knowledge, and Mechanical Maintenance is beneficial. Familiarity with Construction, Landscaping, Site Development, Mechanical Troubleshooting, and Mechanical Repair is preferred. A strong work ethic, reliability, safety awareness, operational excellence, professionalism, accountability, and adaptability are key attributes for success in this role. The company requires 2-5 years of experience for this position.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Heavy equipment certification or formal training is considered an asset. Experience in construction, landscaping, or site development is preferred. Familiarity with agricultural or industrial outdoor operations, as well as mechanical troubleshooting or repair experience, would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
