About the Role
WSL Smart Logistics, a subsidiary of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, is seeking a motivated Logistics Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for supporting and optimizing the company's comprehensive logistics operations across the Kingdom. The Logistics Specialist will play a key role in centralized control tower activities, ensuring efficient transportation, effective fleet utilization, and seamless real-time coordination. This position is ideal for an individual with a foundational understanding of logistics and a desire to contribute to data-driven decision-making and the enhancement of operational efficiency through smart logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily logistics operations through the control tower system.
- Coordinate transportation planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
- Track fleet movement and optimize vehicle utilization.
- Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Support centralized planning for logistics operations.
- Ensure real-time tracking and reporting of shipments and deliveries.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align logistics requirements.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in logistics processes.
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools for logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with logistics policies and operational standards.
- Assist in implementing smart logistics technologies and systems.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.
- Coordinate with fleet and transportation teams for smooth operations.
- Support emergency logistics planning and response activities.
- Continuously recommend improvements for cost efficiency and service quality.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
- Perform any applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Arabic.
