In this role, you will play a crucial part in gathering and presenting news in an engaging manner. Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering information and opinions for stories, ensuring the accuracy of the information.
• Reviewing, editing, and delivering assigned stories and reports as directed by producers.
• Writing and recording voice-over LVO for assigned stories and breaking news.
• Developing creative ideas for news presentation, integrating illustrations, maps, and graphics into the story.
• Proposing coverage ideas for news, features, and stories in coordination with your team.
• Advising or coaching colleagues as necessary.

As a Multimedia Reporter at the Middle East Broadcasting Networks (MBN), you will be responsible for producing clear, accurate, and engaging digital content that resonates with our audiences. You'll gather and verify factual information through interviews, observation, and research, ensuring that all content aligns with MBN's editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce original reporting for MBN’s digital platforms, including stories, video reports, and visual explainers.
• Develop distinct story angles and contribute to editorial priorities.
• Research, write, shoot, and edit multimedia content while maintaining high production standards.
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to shape stories into scalable formats.
• Support bilingual reporting needs in Arabic and English.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of journalism experience, preferred in digital or multimedia environments.
• Strong editorial judgment and proficiency in digital content tools.
• Excellent Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible work schedule to support a 24/7 content environment.
