About the Role
Riyadh Air, headquartered in Riyadh, is establishing itself as a new national airline focused on shaping the future of aviation and transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub. As a digitally native airline connecting the Kingdom to over 100 destinations, Riyadh Air is seeking a Manager Resource Planning and Analysis to drive strategic workforce decisions through the analysis of complex operational data. This role is integral to ensuring the organization has the appropriate personnel, capabilities, and cost structures to support fleet growth, network expansion, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The Manager Resource Planning and Analysis will work closely with the Director of Operations Business Support and senior stakeholders to develop comprehensive workforce plans. This includes translating these plans into robust headcount and cost models, and providing data-guided insights for budgeting, financial workforce modeling, and executive decision-making. The role is responsible for leading forecasting and resource optimization across the Flight Operations function.
- Lead demand forecasting and scenario modeling for workforce planning.
- Build workforce dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track resource allocation and performance.
- Identify risks and optimization opportunities within resource planning.
- Ensure manpower plans are operationally feasible across crew, engineering, and ground operations.
- Enhance planning tools and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and foster a high-performing resource planning capability within the team.
- Develop short-term, medium-term, and long-term workforce plans.
- Translate workforce plans into robust headcount and cost models.
- Provide data-driven insights to support budgeting, financial workforce modeling, and executive decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess a strong foundation in manpower planning and workforce analytics. A degree qualification is required, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in manpower planning, workforce analytics, or operational planning is necessary. A solid background in aviation data analysis, forecasting, and resource modeling is essential, along with a proven ability to manage large datasets and produce actionable insights.
