The objective of the job is to implement receiving, storage, dispensing, and preparation operations inside the central warehouse for kitchenware, especially glass products, according to the instructions of the warehouse manager, ensuring accuracy in quantities, safe handling, updating inventory movements in the system, preparing branch and customer orders on time, and reducing dispensing, breakage, and waste errors. Main Responsibilities:
- Receiving container shipments and participating in unloading goods according to safe handling procedures for breakable materials.
- Matching quantities and items with purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists according to approved directives.
- Inspecting cartons and pallets, detecting damage, breakage, or shortages, isolating the damaged items, and immediately notifying the warehouse manager.
- Recording received goods in the system or Excel according to the approved procedure.
- Coding items and arranging them in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Complying with designated storage locations and not moving or changing items' locations without the approval of the direct supervisor.
- Arranging glass products according to safe stacking standards and preventing pressure or incorrect stacking.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area, aisles, and storage areas.
- Preparing branch orders according to approved dispensing orders.
- Preparing wholesale or online customer orders accurately according to the invoice or sales order.
- Auditing items and quantities before delivery or loading.
- Applying appropriate packaging standards for breakable products before shipping.
- Loading and preparing goods with the warehouse team according to safety and secure transport instructions.
- Documenting dispensing and transfer movements between the warehouse and branches in the system or Excel.
- Updating daily inventory movements according to granted authorizations.
- Participating in periodic, surprise, and annual inventories according to the warehouse manager's directives.
- Reporting any discrepancies or non-conforming items or damages to the direct supervisor.
- Monitoring fast-moving items within the work area and notifying the manager when stock is running low.
- Complying with order preparation timeframes according to priorities set by the warehouse manager.
- Preparing or delivering daily reports on completed work upon request, such as receiving, preparation, damage, shortages, and overdue orders.
- Adhering to safety instructions within the warehouse, especially during handling, loading, and unloading. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or distribution work.
- Experience in wholesale warehouses or products with multiple items is preferred.
- Experience dealing with fragile products such as glass, ceramics, and kitchenware is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/WMS).
- Proficiency in using Excel practically for data entry and tracking.
- Accuracy in inventory and data matching.
- Speed in order preparation under work pressure.
- Commitment to organization, cleanliness, and safety in storage.
