Join Wood as a Cost EngineerWood is seeking a capable and experienced Cost Engineer to support our oil and gas project owner. This role is key in ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:- Develop, issue, and maintain Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
- Liaise with various project control disciplines to develop budgets.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance to capture costs accurately.
- Monitor cost commitments through all project phases.
- Prepare and issue cost performance reports and updates.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant cost experience.
- Proficiency in cost software and principles.
- Understanding of project management principles and cost management techniques.
- Experience developing cost reports and budgets.
