Job Description:
Supervising cleaning and hotel housekeeping work within the facility, ensuring the application of the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in rooms and public areas, reflecting a professional level befitting guests and achieving their satisfaction according to the facility's policies and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct supervision of the cleaning staff and distribution of daily tasks.
• Monitoring the cleanliness of rooms, corridors, and public facilities and ensuring their readiness.
• Conducting periodic inspection tours to ensure compliance with quality and cleanliness standards.
• Training staff on proper cleaning methods and the use of materials and equipment.
• Managing work schedules and vacations to ensure continuous coverage.
• Coordinating with the reception and maintenance department regarding room readiness and any notes.
• Monitoring the inventory of cleaning materials and tools and ordering supplies when needed.
• Addressing guest complaints related to cleanliness and working to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma certificate at a minimum (preferably in hospitality or management).
• Practical experience of no less than 3–5 years in supervising cleaning operations in hotels or serviced apartments.
• Good knowledge of cleanliness and safety standards in the hospitality sector.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage the work team efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks.
• Proficiency in basic computer use.
• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level is preferred.
• Commitment, discipline, and good appearance.
