Secretary or Legal Counsel
Responsibilities include:- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on various commercial contracts.
- Support the finance director with legal matters.
- Providing advice on disputes, litigation, and compliance.
- Enhancing legal risk awareness through training and internal consultation.
- Creating and maintaining an annual compliance reporting schedule.
- Conducting legal and fact research and preparing advisory memos.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings.
- Reviewing supplier contracts and company policies.
- Monitoring compliance and ensuring no escalation of claims and disputes.
- Resolving disputes between employers and employees through arbitration.
- Drafting templates for contracts and policies of legal significance.
- Organizing and presenting all documents related to contracts.
- Dealing with the core negotiations of contracts.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in law.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate environment as legal counsel.- Excellent written and verbal skills in English (Arabic is a plus).- Strong research, investigative, and analytical skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
