We are currently seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead our structures supervision team in a new construction project located in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction supervision activities for the project.
• Establish a comprehensive construction management plan ensuring all contracts are managed to a common standard.
• Initiate and respond to contractual correspondence with clients and contractors.
• Arrange and chair project meetings, including kick-off and progress meetings.
• Establish procedures for inspections, approvals, testing, and commissioning.
• Review contractor HSE plans and ensure the safety procedures are being followed on site.
• Monitor contractor progress and assess outputs regularly.
• Implement QMS requirements and conduct regular audits.
• Certify interim and final payments after thorough review.
• Prepare substantial completion reports, including outstanding requirements.
• Issue taking-over and defects liability certificates as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A BEng/BSc (Hon) in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- At least 20 years of experience managing major construction projects.
- Regional experience and a comprehensive understanding of associated discipline software.

Job Purpose
This position exists to assist in performing quality control activities efficiently, in a timely manner and to quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

• Product Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards and are released on time.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams and other departments to facilitate the timely and efficient execution of projects.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify and control non-conforming products by issuing punch lists or Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up to ensure completion and resolution.
• Third-Party and Customer Inspections: Coordinate inspections with third-party agencies and customers. Work closely with other departments to address and finalize customer comments, ensuring prompt product release.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection and test reports for each project, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• PLC Logic Programming: Develop and implement PLC logic programming based on customer requirements, such as pump control, two out of three transformer incomers, and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).
• Customer Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints by coordinating with the customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Academic Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
Work Experience: 2 to 4 Years.
